By adding a subwoofer with an appropriate system configuration, your smaller main speakers can be relieved of the burden of reproducing low frequencies, allowing your entire system to play louder and sound cleaner at all listening levels.

The purpose of designing and building the M3 infinite-baffle subwoofer is that they are built for real marine operation and are intended to be used without a dedicated seal and are aimed at moderate power applications.

The M3-10 is best used with amplifier power in the 50W - 175W range and is optimized to operate with a large volume of air behind it (at least 2 cubic feet / 56.6 liters). If you need a subwoofer that will operate in a small sealed container, choose our M6-10W instead.

Like all JL Audio marine speakers, this driver is built to withstand a real saltwater environment and deliver years of listening pleasure.

This model is manufactured at JL Audio's factory in Miramar, Florida, using global materials and components.
